BLACKSPOT

What is it? Blackspot is a fungus which makes black spots on the leaves and then makes them turn yellow. It is unsightly and can weaken your roses if not treated.
Advice: Your roses tend to be more susceptible to blackspot if they are under stress, so make sure that they are well fed, watered and mulched throughout the summer. A systemic fungicide, like Systhane,Tumbleblite or Rose Clear, should sort it out for you. If you’ve got a rose that always gets blackspot, try spraying it with Systane as a preventative as soon as the leaves come out.
