Fern Britton celebrates her new Bill LeGrice rose
Top TV presenter Fern Britton was with us at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show to launch "Fern's Rose" her delightful deep creamy yellow scented floribunda.
For each rose sold a donation of £1 will be made to her favourite charity "Women for Women" which funds medical research for better health for women and babies. Fern will be undertaking a bike ride through India later this year to raise money and awareness for her charity following on from her very successful ride through Egypt last year.
"Fern's Rose" will be available from November.

| Britain's Olympic Gold Medal winner Sally Gunnell OBE launched Rosebuddies' new rose, Gift of Life, at the Hampton Court Flower Show. This stunning salmon-orange, sweetly scented climbing rose is named to celebrate 10 years of the NHS Donor Register. Our picture shows Sally and Rosebuddies' Bill LeGrice on our stand at the Hampton Court Flower Show .

Bill LeGrice is international guest judge at Tokyo International Garden and Rose Show |
The Japan Rose Society, whose President is Her Imperial Highness Princess Nobuko of Japan, invited Bill LeGrice to be the international judge at the 2003 Tokyo International Garden and Rose Show.
Bill spent 8 days in Japan judging the show and visiting gardens and shrines. He is pictured here with the Japanese Princess.
"I was overwhelmed by the hospitality of the Japanese people" said Bill. "They are fascinated by English roses. It was a real pleasure to contribute to the judging and to meet Her Imperial Highness".

Michael Ball Launches The Dusty Springfield Rose |
West End Star Michael Ball launched Bill LeGrice's new rose "The Dusty Springfield Rose" at the Hampton Court Flower Show.
Selected by her fan club, this delightfully scented, free standing pink rose is an excellent plant for beds and borders.
Michael Ball, pictured here with Liz Barnes of Bill LeGrice Roses, was pleased to launch the rose, being the last person to perform live with Dusty on stage.
Dusty sadly died of breast cancer and at her request, £1 will be donated to the Royal Marsden Hospital for every rose sold.

One of our best friends at Rosebuddies is Jilly Cooper, the world famous novelist. She sent us this message to help us launch Rosebuddies -
"One of the loveliest complements I have ever been paid is to have Bill LeGrice name a rose after me, particularly when it's a rose of such beauty and originality and is flourishing so charmingly in my garden.
I am terribly excited to see this new website which is devoted entirely to roses, particularly as it will mean more people will learn about this enchanting rose".
Jilly Cooper is a wonderful little rose - masses of sweetly scented well shaped cream flowers on a healthy little bush. Ideal for tubs or in small borders.
